At 14:50 PM on August 2, 2026, Build 29 was submitted to the Google Play Console, bringing the version code to 7.5. This release marks a significant feature milestone, expanding InstaSavvy's global reach by adding support for five new languages, optimizing app startup performance, and resolving a visual UI bug in the share menu download flow.

Multilingual Expansion: Supporting 12 Global Languages

With version 7.5, InstaSavvy's language support has doubled. The application now supports 12 global languages:

  • English, German, Indonesian, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, and Thai.

Adding five new languages Spanish, Tagalog, Arabic, Japanese, and Thai involved extensive translation audits to maintain quality:

Arabic RTL (Right to Left) Support: Arabic requires layouts to mirror horizontally. The UI layouts were audited to ensure that icons, text alignment, and navigation flows adjust automatically for RTL locales.

Japanese and Thai Character Sets: Text wrapping rules were tuned to handle Japanese and Thai scripts without breaking word boundaries or causing horizontal scrolling.

This expansion ensures that InstaSavvy offers a fully localized, accessible experience for a broader international user base.

Resolving the Share Menu Logo Animation Bug

In the Share Intent workflow, a download popup displays the fetch status. During downloads, a logo animation provides visual feedback that a task is actively processing.

In the v7.4 series, a bug caused the logo animation to fail under specific conditions on certain Android versions, appearing static instead. The issue was traced to a thread synchronization conflict: the animation draw loop was running on the main UI thread, which was experiencing brief locks during network I/O handshakes.

Build 29 resolved this by shifting the network I/O operations to a separate thread pool, ensuring the main UI thread remains free to render smooth animations.
